         Ingredients:

          4 medium beets, cooked (roasted or boiled until tender)
         &#xD;
  &lt;/div&gt;&#xD;
  &lt;div&gt;&#xD;
    
          1 cup walnuts
         &#xD;
  &lt;/div&gt;&#xD;
  &lt;div&gt;&#xD;
    
          1 tablespoon cumin seeds
         &#xD;
  &lt;/div&gt;&#xD;
  &lt;div&gt;&#xD;
    
          ¼ cup tahini 
         &#xD;
  &lt;/div&gt;&#xD;
  &lt;div&gt;&#xD;
    
          1 clove garlic
         &#xD;
  &lt;/div&gt;&#xD;
  &lt;div&gt;&#xD;
    
          Juice of one lemon
         &#xD;
  &lt;/div&gt;&#xD;
  &lt;div&gt;&#xD;
    
          1-2 tablespoon olive oil
         &#xD;
  &lt;/div&gt;&#xD;
  &lt;div&gt;&#xD;
    
          Sea salt and fresh ground pepper
         &#xD;
  &lt;/div&gt;&#xD;
  &lt;div&gt;&#xD;
    &lt;br/&gt;&#xD;
  &lt;/div&gt;&#xD;
  &lt;div&gt;&#xD;
    
          Method:
         &#xD;
  &lt;/div&gt;&#xD;
  &lt;div&gt;&#xD;
    
          1. Toast walnuts in a hot pan until golden and fragrant. 
         &#xD;
  &lt;/div&gt;&#xD;
  &lt;div&gt;&#xD;
    
          2. Place walnuts in a bowl to cool and pour cumin seeds into hot pan. Move around for about 30 seconds to toast. Careful not to burn and place in a mortar pestle and ground.
         &#xD;
  &lt;/div&gt;&#xD;
  &lt;div&gt;&#xD;
    
          3. Place walnuts in a food processor and pulse until they resemble crumbs. 
         &#xD;
  &lt;/div&gt;&#xD;
  &lt;div&gt;&#xD;
    
          4. Add the remaining ingredients and process into a smooth paste.
         &#xD;
  &lt;/div&gt;&#xD;
  &lt;div&gt;&#xD;
    &lt;br/&gt;&#xD;

          Serve on toast, over a grain salad or spread it on your sandwich.

         I remember eating fish baked in tahini on Rosh Hashana, a creamy pool of goodness tucked under salty caramelized onions the color of gold. Here is my version, hope you enjoy!

           Juice of 1 lemon

           1 garlic clove

         Method:

           1.	Preheat oven to 350 degrees.
          
                    &#xD;
    &lt;/div&gt;&#xD;
    &lt;div&gt;&#xD;
      
                      
           2.	Blend tahini with lemon juice, garlic, spices and cold water.
          
                    &#xD;
    &lt;/div&gt;&#xD;
    &lt;div&gt;&#xD;
      
                      
           3.	Season fish generously with sea salt, fresh ground pepper and olive oil and bake for 10 minutes.
          
                    &#xD;
    &lt;/div&gt;&#xD;
    &lt;div&gt;&#xD;
      
                      
           4.	Meanwhile, slice onions and fry until golden, making sure to season well with sea salt and fresh ground pepper.
          
                    &#xD;
    &lt;/div&gt;&#xD;
    &lt;div&gt;&#xD;
      
                      
           5.	After 10 minutes, remove fish from oven, smother in tahini and return to oven for another 10 minutes.
          
                    &#xD;
    &lt;/div&gt;&#xD;
    &lt;div&gt;&#xD;
      
                      
           6.	Cover with friend onions and serve immediately.
          
                    &#xD;
    &lt;/div&gt;&#xD;

           *Baking time is based on estimate of a large cut of fish, if using individual fillets, you can reduce cooking time so fish stays moist and flaky.

             1.	Prepare a small bowl of clean water and get all your ingredients ready.
            
                        &#xD;
        &lt;/div&gt;&#xD;
        &lt;div&gt;&#xD;
          
                          
             2.	Place a nori wrapper shiny side down.
            
                        &#xD;
        &lt;/div&gt;&#xD;
        &lt;div&gt;&#xD;
          
                          
             3.	Wet your fingertips slightly and press down rice leaving about an inch free at the end away from you.
            
                        &#xD;
        &lt;/div&gt;&#xD;
        &lt;div&gt;&#xD;
          
                          
             4.	Add veggies over rice and press down a bit. Wet your finger and run it along the free end of the nori sheet.
            
                        &#xD;
        &lt;/div&gt;&#xD;

             5.	Use a sushi mat to help you roll the “burrito”
            
                        &#xD;

             ¼ cup rice vinegar

        &lt;div&gt;&#xD;
          
                          
             ¼ cup maple syrup

        &lt;/div&gt;&#xD;
        &lt;div&gt;&#xD;
          
                          
             1 inch chunk raw ginger, grated
            
                        &#xD;
        &lt;/div&gt;&#xD;
        &lt;div&gt;&#xD;
          
                          
             (1 garlic clove, *optional)

        &lt;/div&gt;&#xD;
        &lt;div&gt;&#xD;
          
                          
             Place all ingredients in a blender and blend until smooth. Add ice water as needed to reach desired consistency.

          &lt;br/&gt;&#xD;
        &lt;/div&gt;&#xD;
        &lt;div&gt;&#xD;
          
                          
             Fake sushi rice
            
                        &#xD;
        &lt;/div&gt;&#xD;
        &lt;div&gt;&#xD;
          
                          
             Ingredients:
            
                        &#xD;
        &lt;/div&gt;&#xD;
        &lt;div&gt;&#xD;
          
                          
             2 cups brown rice
            
                        &#xD;
        &lt;/div&gt;&#xD;
        &lt;div&gt;&#xD;
          
                          
             1 tablespoon unfiltered apple cider vinegar
            
                        &#xD;
        &lt;/div&gt;&#xD;
        &lt;div&gt;&#xD;
          
                          
             1 tablespoon sesame oil
            
                        &#xD;
        &lt;/div&gt;&#xD;
        &lt;div&gt;&#xD;
          &lt;span&gt;&#xD;
            
                            
              1 teaspoon tamari
             
                          &#xD;
          &lt;/span&gt;&#xD;
          &lt;br/&gt;&#xD;
        &lt;/div&gt;&#xD;
        &lt;div&gt;&#xD;
          
                          
             Sea salt and fresh ground pepper
            
                        &#xD;
        &lt;/div&gt;&#xD;
        &lt;div&gt;&#xD;
          
                          
             Water
            
                        &#xD;
        &lt;/div&gt;&#xD;
        &lt;div&gt;&#xD;
          &lt;br/&gt;&#xD;
        &lt;/div&gt;&#xD;
        &lt;div&gt;&#xD;
          
                          
             Method:
            
                        &#xD;
        &lt;/div&gt;&#xD;
        &lt;div&gt;&#xD;
          
                          
             1.	Soak rice overnight with apple cider vinegar and plenty of water.
            
                        &#xD;
        &lt;/div&gt;&#xD;
        &lt;div&gt;&#xD;
          
                          
             2.	Drain rice.
            
                        &#xD;
        &lt;/div&gt;&#xD;
        &lt;div&gt;&#xD;
          
                          
             3.	Heat sesame oil in a pot, add rice, season with tamari, salt and pepper and fry rice for a minute or so, add lots of water.
            
                        &#xD;
        &lt;/div&gt;&#xD;
        &lt;div&gt;&#xD;
          
                          
             4.	Cover. Bring to a boil. Reduce heat and cook for at least 30 minutes or until rice is tender and starchy, drain remaining water.

          &lt;br/&gt;&#xD;
        &lt;/div&gt;&#xD;
        &lt;div&gt;&#xD;
